GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF REMOTE SALE OF GOODS TO CONSUMERS
Preamble – Publisher of the offer
SAS LES PARFUMS DE VIOLET, a simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of 4294 euros, whose registered office is located at 142 rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 820 113 298, VAT number FR90820113298, and phone number +33 9 81 97 19 69, whose activity is the manufacturing and sale of perfumes and products related to perfumery and cosmetics, has set up a remote sales network for some of its products (hereinafter the “Products”) on the website www.maisonviolet.com (hereinafter the “Website”).
Article 1 – Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all online sales of Products concluded between SAS LES PARFUMS DE VIOLET and any non-professional natural person making a purchase on the Website (hereinafter the “Customer”), for delivery within Metropolitan France and/or a member country of the European Union. The Customer must have an internet connection. Internet access costs are solely the responsibility of the Customer. The use of the remote sales process described in these Terms is strictly reserved for consumers acting on their own behalf. Before validating their order, the Customer must accept these Terms by clicking in the designated area, acknowledging that they have read them. Order validation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.
Article 2 – Products
The list of Products offered by SAS LES PARFUMS DE VIOLET is available on the Website. Products are described and presented (name, characteristics, price) as accurately as possible. However, photographic representation may not exactly match the delivered Product due to the artisanal nature of production and/or the natural components used (e.g. perfume color variations). Photographs and descriptions are indicative only and are not binding on SAS LES PARFUMS DE VIOLET. The company reserves the right to add, remove, or modify Products at any time without prior notice. SAS LES PARFUMS DE VIOLET cannot be held liable for allergic reactions caused by product components. The Customer is responsible for checking ingredients before ordering.
Article 3 – Price
Product prices are indicated in euros including VAT (French VAT included). Unless otherwise stated, delivery costs are covered by SAS LES PARFUMS DE VIOLET. The total price and delivery fees (if applicable) are displayed before order validation. An invoice is provided upon delivery detailing the price and any shipping costs. Amounts paid cannot be considered as deposits or advance payments.
Article 4 – Orders
The Customer may purchase Products online within available stock using the order form on the Website. The Customer must provide required information, select delivery address, shipping method, and payment method. Before confirmation, the Customer can review and correct their order. Final validation occurs upon clicking “pay”. An order confirmation email is sent immediately including an order number, product details, and customer information. The sale is only final once payment is confirmed and a final acceptance email is sent after bank verification. The company reserves the right to refuse or suspend orders in case of payment issues, incorrect information, fraud suspicion, or unpaid previous orders.
Article 5 – Payment
Payment is mandatory at the time of order. Payments are made by Visa or Mastercard only. Transactions are secured via SSL encryption. The Customer guarantees they are the cardholder. The company may refuse transactions in case of fraud risk or payment refusal.
Article 6 – Delivery
Delivery refers to the transfer of physical possession of the goods. The Customer is informed by email of shipment and tracking details. Deliveries are available in Metropolitan France and selected EU countries. The Customer is responsible for providing accurate address details. In case of incorrect address, reshipping costs remain the Customer’s responsibility. Delivery occurs within a maximum of 30 days from order confirmation. In case of delay, the Customer must formally request execution within a reasonable additional period before cancelling the order. If unresolved, the Customer may cancel and receive a refund within 14 days.
Article 7 – Withdrawal and returns
The Customer has a 14-day withdrawal right from receipt of goods. However, this does not apply to sealed goods unsealed after delivery for hygiene reasons. Perfumes must be returned unopened, in original packaging, including intact cellophane. The Customer may notify withdrawal by email, registered letter, or via the Website return form. Products must be returned within 14 days after withdrawal notification. Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer. Refunds (including standard delivery costs) are issued within 14 days after receipt of returned goods.
Article 8 – Legal warranties
The Customer benefits from legal conformity and hidden defects warranties in accordance with French law, including articles L217-4 and following of the French Consumer Code and articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code.

Article 10 – Personal data
Customer data is processed for order management and may be shared with partners for execution and payment purposes. Customers have rights of access, correction, and deletion in accordance with French data protection law.
Article 11 – Intellectual property
All content on the Website is the exclusive property of SAS LES PARFUMS DE VIOLET. Any reproduction is strictly prohibited.
Article 12 – Force majeure
The company is not liable in case of force majeure events such as natural disasters, strikes, or transport disruptions.
Article 13 – Customer information
Perfumes may stain textiles. Customers acknowledge this risk. Products may contain allergens, and it is the Customer’s responsibility to check ingredients before purchase and use.
Article 14 – Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law.
Article 15 – Disputes and mediation
In case of dispute, the Customer may seek mediation or bring the matter before the competent courts of Paris.
Article 16 – Miscellaneous
If any clause is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain applicable. The company may modify these Terms at any time.
