The birth of a friendship, the origin of a project

It was on the benches of the Ecole Supérieure du Parfum that our improbable friendship was born. Despite our different characters, all three of us shared the same characteristics. Passionate, a little intrepid and above all very carefree, we imagined, from the first year, setting up our own brand of perfume. But from this desire, crazy at first sight, we sought above all to express ourselves freely while giving pride of place to creativity. But to succeed it was obvious that we had to take the lead.

The years followed one another and so did the experiences. Our appetites and our aspirations were refined. By freeing ourselves from current creations, we reformulate, reinvent, reinterpret the classics of fine perfumery. We learned and understood the basics while studying and delineating this opaque and secretive industry.

It was at the end of the third year that our entrepreneurial dream caught up with us. Our unfailing love of perfumes from the beginning of the 20th century and our interest in vintages pushed us, without knowing it, towards Queen Bee perfumery. It was during research that we came across this century-old brand by chance, or rather by chance. Immediately intrigued and then deeply seduced by its history and its many secrets, restoring Maison Violet seemed obvious to us.

Guided by our conception of beautiful perfumery, we were finally able to express ourselves freely. By modernizing the classic patterns, we have reinvented the neoclassical genre and dusted off a perfumery that will never pass through our hands again. We could finally prove that vintage perfumery was the modernism the industry was missing. For this, we have made no compromise on the quality of our raw materials and have called on local players with undeniable know-how.

In an ever-accelerating world, we press pause. We breathe and take our time to preserve this know-how and this inexhaustible source of inspiration that is nature. For this we are committed and take part in the causes that are close to our hearts and make this industry live.

Because in a world that runs towards the future without looking back, we are convinced that the past can be a source of sublime inspiration. And perfume is and will remain a bridge between yesterday and tomorrow. We share this vision with VIOLET where the customer relationship rhymes with exchange, transmission and transparency.

Because ultimately, VIOLET is above all a house on a human scale.
